When using an existing license, the only additional cost is the price for the Microsoft Azure instances. You can deploy FortiGate-VM in regional Azure such as Azure Government, Germany, and China. After placing an order for FortiManager VM, a license registration code is sent to the email address used in the order form. Use the license registration code provided to register the FortiManager VM with Customer Service & Support at https://support.fortinet.com.

'This was not a 'backdoor' vulnerability issue but rather a management authentication issue. The issue was identified by our Product Security team as part of their regular review and testing efforts.'

In closed environments without Internet access, it is mandatory to perform offline licensing of the virtual FortiGate using a FortiManager as a license server.
