Hello. That is basically my question.
In Chirp, the offset is set to 0.000000 for these NOAA channels, and there is an error message that I get if I try to set the offset to some 'out of. radio range' number. There is no 'transmit frequency' column in Chirp (late June version), so I can't turn that 'off.' How do I assure that no accidental transmissions occur on these channels from a programming standpoint? I'm using a Baofeng radio. I am surprised this is not automatically programmed into the pre-programmed NOAA channels provided in Chirp.
