| hi guys i tried submitting a private message to your support dept. Creating a ticket was easy but then 1 second after i created it ur system said 0 ticket active and it also said my problem is allready solved and after i did a refresh it said no active tickets and all my tickets were closed but not solved ............. i did not get an answer . so hope u can give me an email to right to if ur ticket system is buggy? like support@presonus.com' target='_blank So here is my question to u again I am running an imac and ur software and the newest 10.9 mavericxk os. I want to know how I can make 64bit recordings when i can only choose a resolution of max 32bit ? I found out how to run ur software in 64bit mode ........... I only run the free version of ur software which is great by the way nice job. |
| I think you may be confusing the bit depth, precision, and program mode. They are all different. Bit depth is how many bits are used to store each sample. Most humans use 24 bits maximum. You can do 32-bit float in Pro but why bother? Precision is how many bits are used to do calculations. This can be set to 64 bits even using the 32-bit version of Studio One. Again, probably overkill. Program mode (might not be the right term but I'm drawing a blank) is whether you are running the application using a 32-bit processor or a 64-bit processor, or maybe running 32-bit mode on a 64-bit processor. This one has NOTHING to do with audio unless your system can't handle the workload. I am Sir Melvis Bacon, Knight of BaconHam Palace. Studio One 2 Pro 3.3.x (64 bit). MacBook Pro 13'. | Not sure what happened with the call logging All I can suggest is you try again or call them on the number on this page.. Presonus Technical Support Your question re resolution has multiple answers. Firstly .. The Max Resolution on Studio One s 32bit Floating Point.. You get the options of 16bit, 24but or 32bit Floating Point. None of the current versions have 64Bit. Secondly... The Audio-processing resolution (floating-point) capabilities of 64bit (used internally within Studio One for calculations) is only available for Studio One Professional version so is not available for the Free Version that you are running.. The free version, although usable, has limited capabilities so if you maximum advantage then you should upgrade to a full version Artist, Producer or Professional. Each a step up from each other in capability. You might like to check the table at the bottom of this page to see what you get in each version. | I see for example the comparing chart on the presonus site. It said i can get 64bit if i upgrade from the free version to the pro version. But does this then mean I can make 64bit audio recordings ? And does it also mean when i do a wav Expport or Mixdown i then can choose to export as wav with 64bit resulution instead of only 32bit as i got now running on my 64bit mac newest os |
| in addition i see this line on the comparising chart part of presonus site. Audio-processing resolution (floating-point) 32-bit(free) 32-bit 32-bit 64-bit(pro) |

| yes i did so my friend wants to try your pro aplication on his mac so can he then make 64bit recordings on his mac in this trial ? he normally uses the new logic where this is also possible and yes i did read it yes. he has a mac with 16gb of ram so should be enough |
| With the pro application he can apply 64-bit processing to 24-bit audio files on his Mac. I believe you might want to read the previous replies to your questions a bit closer. Native Instruments Native Access For Os X 10.9.5
| billpaz wroteSo what about the sounds or the loops those that comes with the studio one software how many bits are those? Select a loop in the browser and then look at the bottom of the browser panel and you'll see all of the file details... format, bit depth, tempo, etc, etc... I have done a test and i think i can hear a difference from a pro logic apple loop to a studio one loop yes. If the Apple Loops sound better to you, use them. I do think (not certain though) that those can also be used inside Studio One from the browser. Hope that helps. |
| hi well i have now checked it out yes its possible to put the apple loop in ur softeare on my mac. But its strange when i go to your folder for the studio one loops i only get 1 file but i have many different loops not only one loop so why is this like that ? hope u can help me out i also tried and go and look at the apple loops folder to compare and when i do that i see several files not only one file like when i look at studio one loops its hard to tell what is what............ on my mac looking at it like that |
| Not sure how many loops the Free version of Studio One comes with. That's kind of the point of buying software is to get the added features. I am Sir Melvis Bacon, Knight of BaconHam Palace. | Here's what you get in the paid versions: http://www.presonus.com/products/Studio ... ed-content You get 2.5 GB of loops with Studio One Artist according to this page: http://www.presonus.com/products/studio ... e-versions But then you have to pay $99.95 or buy one of their interfaces. You could download the demo if you're thinking of buying it. That will give you access to the content for 30 days. I am Sir Melvis Bacon, Knight of BaconHam Palace. Studio One 2 Pro 3.3.x (64 bit). | hi there yes I tried getting the 30 day trial for ur pro studio one software. Everytime i do your system asks me if i want to try the free version which im allready trying so how to make ur system give me a try on the pro free trial as well as trying the free version? |
| And another thing I have looked at the apple loops folder and every single apple sound has 1 file but in ur folder using ur studio one free version i get less amount of sounds but looking at the 8 sounds i have I can only see one file and that file is not named the same name as the loop so is this the way its supposed to be ? or am i looking at a wrong folder = ? what is the correct path for the correct folder running mac and running ur studio one in free version and on maverick newest os it seems apple organizes its loops differently on apple i can choose only one loop with u i have to choose all loops ? |
