Skyrim 2018

Modder ‘Pfuscher’ has released a brand new version of his high quality texture pack for Skyrim Special Edition. This 2018 high quality texture pack replaces numerous textures with better ones, and adds cubemaps to metallic objects.

Do note that this mod requires Brumbek’s SMIM – Static Mesh Improvement Mod as well as LucidAP’s high poly project. The modder also recommends using Gamwich’s Rustic Clothing mod.

Going into slightly more details, this texture pack adds new textures and cubemaps for Goat, Highlandcow, Farmhouse, Markarth, Riften, Solitude, Tents, Whiterun, Windhelm, Winterhold and more.

Unfortunately I currently don’t have Skyrim installed so I can’t really comment on the quality of these new HD textures (or whether there is a huge improvement over the vanilla textures). Still, the modder has released some screenshots showing some of these new textures that you can find below.
